The Leadership of Immanuel Church is committed to the physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional well-being of our church family as well as the greater Holland/Zeeland/Hamilton community. Therefore, with the COVID-19 cases on the rise in our own community, and through much prayer, discussion with other church leaders, and local Health Care providers, we are making a few changes.

Each week an RSVP link will be made available on Mondays at 9 am.  We encourage anyone who may feel uncomfortable in large gatherings, and those considered "high risk" to remain at home. The online live stream will continue.

Please call the church office at 616-392-1814 with any questions regarding registration!

Please be aware of the following guidelines:

  • RSVP

To attend service on Sunday morning, you must RSVP!   Please RSVP for everyone in your family. You will be able to join the waitlist if a service is full. If you can no longer attend a service, please cancel your RSVP through your confirmation email so we can notify someone on the waitlist.

We ask that masks are worn in transitional spaces. You are welcome to remove your mask once you arrive to your seat or classroom. We have reserved the balcony for those who wish to worship in an environment where masks are mandatory.

  • Physical dISTANCING

In the sanctuary, please leave 3 seats between each family. Please respect the 6-foot physical distancing parameters and do not hug or shake hands.

Consider your health when deciding to attend church on Sunday morning. If you're sick, stay home and join us online! We ask that you take your temperature before leaving for church. You must be fever-free (CDC clarifies a fever of a temperature over 100.4 degrees) and without a cough for 72 hours before Sunday morning.

  • Children's, Student's, and Adult Classes

We will have limited Children's Ministry during the 9 am service. Classes are available for children aged 9 months through 4 years old.

Children must stay within arms reach of their parents or guardians the entire time they are on church property.

Sunday morning classes, Student Ministry, and weekly small groups are encouraged to meet online or off-site while observing social distancing guidelines.

  • Entering and Exiting

Doors will open 15 minutes before the service. Please remain in your car until the doors open. Once doors open, please abide by the 6-foot social distancing guidelines.

Please enter using the main entrance near the sanctuary and ushers will help you find a seat. Please keep 3 seats of distance between your family and others.

We will dismiss in sections to allow for appropriate social distancing and time for us to clean in preparation for the next service. Please remain seated until you are dismissed.
