Why Groups?

The bottom line is, people were made for community! There are very few places in our society where people can find accountability, challenge each other, and grow spiritually. At Immanuel, we hope you find a welcoming, challenging, and spiritually maturing group of people who care about you and your development in Christ-likeness.

Small Groups

Small Groups at Immanuel are made up of 8-14 people, who study scripture together, meet either on-site or in people's homes, and work to develop community. Groups are made up of men and women that have a desire to help each other grow more Christlike as they encounter what God's word has to say.

Micro Groups

Micro Groups at Immanuel are made up of 3-5 men or 3-5 women. Micro Groups are focused on diving deep, caring for, and encouraging one another to live Christ-like wherever God has placed them. Studying scripture and applying its implications is the main goal. As the community deepens and develops, we believe the ability to speak into one another's lives increases exponentially.

The Fold Class announces a new series on Bible Prophecy entitled "God's Plan for the Ages (Getting a Handle on Eschatology)." This will begin on February 13, 2022 at 9:30 AM and is expected to conclude the last Sunday in May. Team taught by Steve Holman and Mark Rose, this is not your typical prophecy class with elaborate charts and bold pronouncements (who is the AntiChrist? What is the place of the US in God's plan? etc.) Rather, this class is designed to equip you to accurately handle prophetic scriptures from Genesis through Revelation, to give you confidence in the promises of God, to motivate you to long for the glorious appearing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and to help you rest in your blessed hope for eternity. In other words, we want it to be life changing! Our class is interactive, welcoming participation and discussion, and is for adults of all ages. There will be handouts and we use PowerPoints. If you want to know more about the class, drop by our room downstairs on February 6 during the Open House for all ABFs.
